Unjustifiable plays can pay off, if used sparingly

There's no way to justify my play below, but it makes me giggle. I don't make a habit of loose calls like that one, but every now and again they pay off. If you do the math, I was getting 1500 to 400 (just shy of 4 to 1) odds to see the flop, and I knew that unless I hit it very well I could throw it away, and if I hit, I would collect handsomely.
