$ Watch

$233.54. I lost about $30 last night on pot-limit NLHE with .10/.25 blinds, primarly from raising with nice starters, and not believing the lousy hands my opponents called and beat me with, in one case 92s, in two other cases Q5s.

Then I took 1st out of 18 in a 10$ sng. I was in the middle of the pack till we consolidated to one table, then I was always in the bottom three till we were down to 5, then I made a move with 33 to win the coin flip against KTo, doubled up, and quickly became a contender. After much shucking, jiving and folding, I keep outlasting and eliminating the others. Here's a really interesting hand, I'm not sure if I made a good play, but I'm going to look up the odds right now.

FNJ - This player was wild in the early stages, and tightened up as the game progressed. I figured him for Ax, probably suited.

*** FLOP *** [Jc Qd 6c]
FrankNagaiJr: bets 6460 and is all-in

FNJ - This was a cheeky play, to represent top pair or at least a pair, but I felt I most likely had the best draw and would need to see both cards to hit.

koivu: calls 6460
FrankNagaiJr said, "two draws"

FNJ - As you'll see in a moment, he turns over A4s for the flush draw. Let's look at the odds calculator. I am the 30.4% underdog.

*** TURN *** [Jc Qd 6c] [5d]

FNJ - Now I am the 22.73% underdog.
